*The Africa Trade & Investment Global Summit:
The upcoming prestigious Africa Trade and Investment Global Summit (ATIGS) on October 28 & 29, 2020 will be held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The event will be held during the Expo Dubai 2020, the first World Expo in MEASA (Middle East, Africa and South Asia Region) which will bring over 200 participating countries, and welcome millions of people all around the world.
ATIGS is a unique business platform to foster relationships and engage efficiently with key influencers and investors from every corner of the world. During a period of two days, Vice presidents, Ministers, Governors, Business Executives, top CEOs, international investors and companies seeking to expand in African markets are gathered in one single place to discuss concrete investment projects and establish strategic partnerships through thematic workshops, presentations, and networking sessions.
Last year, we hosted the premier ATIGS in the United States, on June 24-26 in Washington DC at the Ronald Reagan Building and World Trade Center. With more than 2,300 delegates from 92 countries, and 186 Accredited Investor groups, a great success for the hosting country, sponsors and the participants. 156 deals were submitted to be showcase in deal rooms. 67 bankable projects valued at USD 8.2 billion across 14 countries selected and presented in ATIGS Deal Rooms. USD 1 billion worth of deals signed from 18 Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing. ATIGS USA 2018 was a great success for both the hosting country, sponsors and the participants. High-potential industries and companies were presented to a select audience which led to direct engagement, deal-making, co-investments and the establishment of business partnerships.
We are now planning the next edition, ATIGS Dubai 2020 which will be a more exclusive high-level gathering for government officials, high-profile African business leaders, project developers, and international investors from Africa, Middle East, Asia, Europe, and America.
